Before we go further, please collect the information:
1. Is it a 32 or 64 bit version Windows XP?
2. Please check the permission of the following registry key, then export
the registry as a reg file, and compress it as a zip file before you send
it to me at
petery@microsoft.com
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\SQL Server
3. Does the issue only occur with SQL odbc driver? Did you try other driver
such as Text driver or Excel driver?
4. Please use the following utitlity to check MDAC on your machine, and
send me the result.
