From the latest ASE patch:

Starting from 12.5.1 release, ASE will be supported on
Enterprise Linux versions only.

I believe this OS is ~$1000. Do you think 12.5.1 will still run on
RH 8? Or am I looking at a choice of not upgrading vs. getting my
boss to spend money...
