Maybe you should try RH AS 2.1 for a start.
I've seen "some" performance differences with the "regular" RH 7.2 (or
7.3/8.0) for 12.5.1 beta.
Maybe it's not your choice for a client OS, but for a server OS, it is
my # 1 choice.
