Solaris 10 patches not getting installed I have a machine running Solaris 10 3/05 and have at some point
installed the fancy GUI update manager thingy. This all worked fine
for months, but now it has mysteriously broken. It lists a bunch of
patches which need a reboot to install (with a hyphen), which it has
done before. I reboot the machine (with init 6, the proper way) but
those patches don't actually get installed. This has definitely worked
in the past: something has got wedged I guess. The patches have been
downloaded.
is there anything I can do (with smpatch? a hammer?) to unwedge the
bloody thing and get it to actually install the patches?
Thanks
