Kindly enlighten me as to who a Sybase Developer is:

Is it that a Sybase Developer is involved in:

-- Application development using Sybase as the backend (and using some
other tool as frontend)?

OR

-- Only developing business logic using stored procedures and other
database objects and tuning queries/procedures?

I know that the query might sound silly, but since I am hoping to
become a full-time Sybase Personnel (Developer/DBA), I would like to
state exactly what I am.

I did search through Google but could not come across a clear
definition.
