Dear Friends...

May be my question has a simple answer/solution

On one of AIX 5.2 ML 4 server I was checking if a patch (IY42783) is
instlled or not. ( which was one of the requiremnets in one of our
internal docs..)

#instfix -ik IY42783
There was no data for IY42783 in the fix database.

IY42783 is basicall rsct fixes at 2.3.1.0 and I have rsct at 2.3.4.0
installed through ML4.

Why instfix says " no data" ..

Could you explain this

I had to find out first what IY42783 is .. is there any simple way
out..
