If I used dbexport, this will create a new file with the database info
in it without affecting the original file right? Is there a standard
filename extension for the database files? (i.e. *.frm or *.sql etc.)

Then the next step is to figure out how to transfer this new file from
the Unix PC to the WinME PC.
