Malcolm,

You can not mix ontape with onbar. You need to use ontape or onbar for
both the physical backup and logical log backup in order to be able to
successfully restore. Also, if you switch to onbar you will need to
backup the logs to successfully restore or use the (-w) option when you
take the level 0 with onbar in order to skip the log restore. This
option mark all the dbspaces with the same archive time stamp.
Otherwise each dbspace may have a different time stamp and you will
need to restore the logs to sync everything up.
