I connect via ODBC through Excel's Data Connections(using the same connection
string that you used to connect in SQL), from there under Connection
Properties there is an "Edit Query" button. This opens up Microsoft Query,
which is quick way to build SQL Queries which you can then copy and paste
into SQL during the import process. If you can't find what I'm referring to,
I can send you screenshots.
