Sorry for the trivial question, but... I have two quick questions.

I have a document with words that are in a database, and some of the
words may not be there, and others may have multiple entries. I
understand that there is a way of doing batch query that makes is much
faster. Can someone tell me what the command is.


I am basically looking up a bunch of words (may end up being phrases)
that have associated values with them. Is there a better way of doing
this than a mySql?
