I agree, in the passed several years SunSolve has really needed some
loving care. The latest version, I think version 6, was suppose to
have fixed some performance and search functionality. In some ways it
has corrected some, but yet the searches are poor at times and VERY
often are extremely slow. Also I find when searching for key words
like "kernel patch" you have to trudge through gobs of patch results
to get to the more recent kernel patches, clicking the "Obsoleted by"
links.
Sun has confirmed that they're working on these issues and that it
will get better. Sigh!
Maybe one approach would be to start over with SunSolve when Solaris
11 comes out and make the new site full of information on Solaris 11
only. Just an idea. However, the amount of information they're
trying to manage has got to be staggering.
IMHO it hurts Sun when their support site does not have a .Dot, in
