Invariably. For the last 19 years. Every time I've raised a problem and
the resolution has been simple, it's been followed shortly by someone
calling with a questionnaire about service levels. Never happens after the
ones which take weeks or more.

Well, AIX support in 2005 doesn't differ in any noticeable degree to MVS
support in 1986 when I started in this game. They still try to prove it
isn't their problem first, then insist on an unreasonable amount of
documentation to prove that you really do have a problem. But if you
persist to this degree, they then do look into it.
But God help you if you have a multi vendor problem. That hasn't changed
either.
