This is a real pain! Ways I have got around it, is to boot from the
latest mksysb tape (if you have one). If you don't have a CD-writer on
your AIX box (I don't), you can ask mkcd to create an ISO compliant
image that you can FTP to you Win/Linux/Mac or other O/S that has a
burner and create the first disk that way.
