Haven't done the research on this adapter but have you tried mounting
the CD w/the BOS (CD 1) on the system then run cfgmgr -v -i
/cdrommountpoint. That's how I get the correct driver(s) for new
adapters I stick into my running machines (hot pluggable pci, that is
<G>) installed.

Obviously, once (if?) the above command find the drivers, you then need
to update the filesets to the respective level that the system is at
(oslevel -qr or one of the instfix commands such as instfix -i |grep
AIX_ML which will show whether the ML is complete).

Just a thought.
