I have a question here.
We have E10K with Solaris 2.6 and oracle 8.1.6.
Major Software we run on it are SAS , oracle and Netbackup server
software. We see Idle time going to 0% and I/O wait more than 75 % .
It terminated oracle instance once, we have supported version of
Volume manager and Veritas File system.
Due to some other constraints we are not able to upgarde it to 2.8
and have oracle 9i for now. Can someone help me in tuning systems file
as much as possible so that we can utilize 2.6 to its best capacity.
