Default Re: Sun4.2G format probs

Solaris 7 5/99 ( I would like to go up to a newer version, but I am
trying to mimic a system here that is at a remote location and I have
no control over what version they are running).

The drives are Sun (labelled and everything) 4G Ultra-wides so it is
compatible. I have it in a 711 Multipack. The boot eprom seesm them
correctly, so controller etc are working.

As for #4- it all comes down to $$$$. I could get a "new old stock" one
from a Sun authorized dealer, and pay as much for it as for a 500Gb
drive on my Mac. Besides, I am basically trying to get enough drives
set up ( capacity is not an issue) to try out Veritas here and learn
the ins and outs w/out risking anything on the remote system.
