I tryed more than one cd; in particular: 2 cdrom original from sun
(solaris 2.5.1)
1 cd rom with solaris 8 (the one I used to install the system long time
ago).
I also tryed to replace the cdrom reader but I was not able to make it
work
Do not rememeber the error, but it was diffrent from "Cant' open boot
device" and
searching the net resulted in some incompatibility stuff of the reader.
I'm also searching for a new original solaris 7 we should have here in
the office
but still can't find
