for starters try not to mess with bosinsta.data file.... then clone
from tape... ( chose the target during recovery ), keep CD in CD-ROM
during installation.... And more information regarding "can't boot from
the disk" would help to identify the source of that problem...
Also try access the disk booting the system in service mode off
CD-ROM...
