I have installed an SBus QFE into a 70 MHz SS5 system a few days ago and the
card was detected straight away by the openboot firmware during a diagnostic
boot to test that it was found. The OBP firmware version is fairly old too
(around 2.15). SS5's OBP versions run up to 2.24 (or higher on Turbosparc
system boards).

Does the OS Installation have the right software packages?
