Just about any SCSI tape drive can be made to work with Solaris, you just
need to create entries for it in the st.conf file. So you're not limited to
Sun's offerings, FWIW. If you were interested in Sony AIT drives, for
example, Sony has a .PDF with the settings required for the st.conf.

Looks like the Sun offerings (for single, standalone tape drives) are
DDS-4, DAT72, SuperDLT320, or LTO-2.
