Gee, I sure hope not -- if the engineering team has got a multi-user
boot happening by now surely there isn't that much work left to do
in order to get the port fully operational?

not at all, it's just that the interface costs are still pretty
hefty for FC devices, so for price-point competitiveness you
are unlikely to see FC on the desktop.
Not that I wouldn't mind FC on my desktop but we've gotta be
realistic about this.
