What are you trying to accomplish? I noticed from your original post
the following:
The following packages are available:
1 SUNWssadv.1 SPARCstorage Array Solaris 5.3 Drivers
(sparc) 1.0
2 SUNWssadv.2 SPARCstorage Array Solaris 5.3 Drivers
(sparc) 2.1,REV=1.0
3 SUNWssadv.20 SPARCstorage Array Solaris 5.3 Drivers
(sparc) 2.0
Are you attempting to install Solaris 2.3 (i.e. the Solaris 5.3
component) patches on a Solaris 9 system?
As to the software you can use Veritas Volume Manager with a
SparcStorage Array. The SSA is licensed to use Veritas...at least it
was with older versions.
