Hello all. Just a few quick questions: can this drive (i.e., a
ST336704LC) work as an internal drive in an old SS20? If so, how?
Any particular jumper settings?

I just bought one off of eBay, it's not a Sun-formatted drive and
I can't use "format" to set the drive up. I can't write the
partition info because format complains that the drive isn't
formatted. When I try to format it, it fails saying the drive
isn't ready.

One other point, format also doesn't recognise the drive (i.e., it
lists the drive, but it lists it as an unknown drive). I have to
configure (e.g., cylinders, heads, sectors/track, etc.) it manually.

I don't have a screen dump at the moment because I don't have access
to the machine right now. I can provide that later if necessary.
