Just about any "IDE" based CD-Rom drive. I've used Sony without any
problems in my Blade 100. I've just purchased a new Sony, with Dual
Layer capability. I have not installed it yet, it's slated to go in my
new Blade 2500. I don't expect the Dual Layer part to work just yet,
but all other features.

Maybe someone can reply on the state of Dual Layer recording in Solaris,
is it possible yet?
