I wonder if You read the two weeks old thread on this?
Did You try the environment variables for using bash during the
configure?

unfortunately, I currently can't continue the work on compiling it at
the moment, the power consumption of my H70 is a crucial part of why I
bought some candles on Saturday )

Please read through the thread and then came back with the specific
errors You see.
