Yes, I know that 7.3.4 is no longer supported, but 8.1.7 won't be for
much longer either. Do you know off hand, if the new PA-RISC HP
servers can still have an 11.00 O/S with the 32/64 bit patches? Our
current Oracle 7.3.4 is on the 11.00 O/S with the 32/64 bit patches.
If I run the command "/usr/bin/getconf KERNEL_BITS" on our current
server it does show 64, so I was thinking that Oracle 7.3.4 should run
on 11i, even though it is 32 bit.
