Oh? How come? Not even with STM and the graphinfo command? I _can_ seem
to get correct results with that on a C360 with 11i and a VIS-EG/PCI
card. Correctly identifies the display mode and adapter type.

Oh ... you mean, hardware information from the physical screen unit
that is nowadays occasionally sent along in the cable? Right, _that_ I
can't seem to find. (never got used to having that information
available - or, when available, correct ... but some Linux box actually
managed to get the physical screen dimensions right, lately, and had the
right DPI values in X automatically...)
