You should be able to use a "null modem" cable and use a terminal
emulator like "hyperterm" or I use a secureCRT session set up for
"serial" xon/xoff, baud 9600 over com1 from my laptop .. saying that, I
have never done this on a p570 .. I will check it out tomorrow and post
the results.
