According to the information, you need bootable media at an equal or
higher ML than your mksysb tape. But why did you need the CDs? Did you
get killed by the known issue in 5.2 where the boot image is too large due
to all the device support included in the base install? I got bit by that
and am in the process of deleteing various 'devices.' filesets for things
I know I won't need.
I have not heard of any similiar issue with 5.3 |
