Hello, thanks for your help, doing so didn't work but another fdisk
function solved everything: it was just to select the windows partition
as bootable. somehow this had been changed. Now windows boots but since
I also did fdisk /mbr, lilo got disinstalled and I can only boot linux
via a rescue floppy and the cdrom. The problem is that my cdrom is hda
and my hd is hdc and Yast refuses to install lilo on something else than
hda or sda. I think I'm just going to switch the cables, it's the easiest.
