I dislike Mozilla 1.4 on any X installation. For that matter, I dislike
it in Windows too. However, Mozilla Firebird and Thunderbird are
keepers. A lot less bloat (although, I hope the continue the dieting).

If you want to use it, go out to Mozilla, download the tarballs, untar
into your desired location, create the link on the desktop and you're
off and running. No rpm games, very simple installation.
