Assuming that you got the Java 5 SDK from DeveloperWorks, the "Install"
section of the following document
(http://www-128.ibm.com/developerwork...ide.aix32.html)
indicates that you can use "smit" or "smitty" or "installp" to install
the package. You might find the answer to question 3 in
(http://www-128.ibm.com/developerwork.../aix/faqs.html) helpful.
Note that AIX 5.2 or higher is required for this package.
