Default SuSE 9.0 default boot loader and SCSI drives

Hello,

My problem started when I tried to install SuSE 9.0 on a Dell
PowerEdge server 2300, Yast2 kept saying "no hard disks are found...."
The drives are SCSI and SuSE 8.0 recognize them with no problems, in
fact I have another server that works just fine with the same h/w.

Here is what I found, after digging around on the internet I learened
that in SuSE9 the default boot loaded is set to GRUB, and that GRUB
fails to identify SCSI drives, on the other hand LILO does, so the
advise was to make LILO as the default bootloader!

How can I make LILO the default boot loadee when I don't even have
anything on the hard drives (i.e. clean install, no new hard disks
with no OS).

Thanks for your help.
