Try rebooting and during the startup, watch for the LILO prompt, when you
see it, hit the TAB key. At that point login with the string it gives you
(something like <linux-2cpu> and also type 'single' then enter. It will
be something like LOGIN: linux-2cpu single <ENTER> Then wait for the
prompt and enter 'passwd'. This should let you change the root password. |
