"manually startup" means explicitly execute xcin by typing 'xcin' in the
command prompt? I have tried so... but the input bar does not come out,
only with the messages coming out:

XCIN (Chinese XIM server) version 2.5.3-pre2.
(module ver: 20010918, syscin ver: 20000210).
(use "-h" option for help)

xcin: locale "zh_TW.Big5" encoding "big5"
xcin: XIM server "xcin" transport "X/"
xcin: inp_styles: Root OverTheSpot

For me, in zh_TW environment, I used the font Big5. It works quite well
in my zh_TW environment. The xcin can work properly there.
