My favorite Unix is FreeBSD, for no particular reason. They
are all good. I'd run Unix if it wasn't for the fact that
a huge number of great applications have been created for
Libc6/Linux that just don't work on Unix.

My favorite Linux is Debian. It is very clean
and dependable, follows the FHS (Filesystem Hierarchy Standard),
and very easy to customize. You aren't locked into a GIDE
(Graphical Integrated Desktop Environment).
