Can someone recommend a linux distro for an AMD k6-2 500, 256M RAM,
32MB TNT2, Soundblaster, and 10Gb HD.

Im looking for a Distro that can setup without needing to hack at the
configuration for a week to get it going. Anything that would allow to
do the usual array of browsing, watching videos, listening ot music,
burning discs, skype and yahoo chat etc. standard home user stuff.

Ive had no success getting debian installed on this machine, can never
get the installer to go right for some reason. Tried knoppix, didnt
like the interface, wouldn't install right either.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Provided they dont cost money
