Default Ndiswrapper with broadcom bcm inbuilt wireless

hi

i just left microsoft xp behind and installed debian testing on my hp
pavilion zx5000 notebook with the help of my friend. this laptop has an
inbuilt wireless card which shows up as (my friend's idea) :

0000:02:02.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g
Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company: Unknown device 12f4
Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr-
Stepping- SERR- FastB2B-
Status: Cap- 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort-
<TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR-
Latency: 64
Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 18
Region 0: Memory at e8204000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8K]

i used ndiswrapper to install the windows driver from the cdrom :

/home/kemal# ndiswrapper -i /media/cdrom0/SWSetup/WLAN1/bcmwl5.inf
Installing bcmwl5
Forcing parameter IBSSGMode|0 to IBSSGMode|2
Forcing parameter IBSSGMode|0 to IBSSGMode|2
/home/kemal# /sbin/iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

/home/kemal# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
bcmwl5 driver present, hardware present

how do i get the interface wlan0 to come up ?

thx.
