Trying to boot ubuntu but getting grub I bought the book "Ubuntu Linux Bible" and tried to use the disk in it
to re-format my disk and install (the desktop version). However the
process froze in the middle and I was unable to continue. I then
downloaded the ubuntu CD image from one of the mirors listed in the
Ubuntu home page and burnt a CD. When I rebooted from the CD I got
into the "grub" command line. One of the commands is "install" but it
expects some file name and I don't know how to proceed.
Please help,
