Hi,

In order to configure a new SCSI device tou must fisrt check if it's SCSI ID
isn't already use by another device.
SCSI tape Drive is usualy ste to ID 5 by manufacturer.
Change your SCSI ID on the 4mm tape drive.
launch the followinfg command : cfgmgr -v
After you can check your new SCSI drive state with : lsdev -Cc tape
