I have a strange problem when creating a remote print queue on my AIX ver.
4.2.1.0
It is not a problem for any other remote print queues, but when I create one
for a 3 port D-link box, then the queue is displayed 15 times when you do a
lpstat !
I create the queue using smitty mkpq. I put in the name I want for the
queue, then the DNS name for the remote printserver and finally the name of
the queue on the remote printserver. In this case the queue is called
PS-D2A6F4-P1.
Any ideas to why this is happening and how it can be resolved ?
The printer works fine it is just a bit irritating with the long lpstat list
..
