kubuntu and PAE? Hey,
Asking for a friend ... He is using kubuntu desktop, and is looking for
a PAE kernel (has 4GB, post shows 4GB, Linux shows 2GB to 2.8 GB
depending on BIOS option). On Fedora (which I use) it is listed as
kernel-PAE-`uname -r` Everything I have found on this for him suggests
that linux-server (as a kernel release) is what he needs, yet he says it
is not listed anywhere. What does he need to do to get a PAE kernel
installed, or is it enabled by default? (he is looking at
/boot/config-`uname -r` if Ubuntu has it...). Suggestions?
