Default SCO refuses to leave UnitedLinux...

Hello Dear Friends:

SCO, our favorite insane computer software company, has repeatedly refused
to leave the UnitedLinux consortium so everybody else left and now United
Linux is nothing more than an empty shell.

SuSE literally turned off the lights and walked away last week leaving the
carcass for SCO to play with as they see fit. I fully expect Darl & Co to
start filing lawsuits against the other partners at any time because they
'failed to live up to their commitments' - that is the Darl way, don't you
know.

And of course our favorite fish, Tony the Tuna will sound out the
possibility that SCO May Have Case!

In other news, IBM has made statements to the effect that the evidence
submitted by SCO is far from complete - not the slightly lite version that
SCO would have you believe, but seriously deficient.

Here is the deal (Tony, are you paying attention?) If SCO has all this
evidence of System V code being incorporated into the Linux kernel and has
had it for months, what is taking so long to deliver it to IBM? I mean, SCO
KNEW what IBM was asking for for months, both from the interrogatories and
from the multiple Motions to Compel - this has gone on for almost six (6)
months!!!

I know this, the Judge knows this, IBM knows this, everybody knows this with
the exception of Tony the Tuna... therefore all this minor bit of
maneuvering is just sidestepping the inevitable!

Personally, I think Judge Wells is giving SCO every opportunity to deliver
before IBM delivers the death blow to this frivolous lawsuit!

Anybody also notice that SCO apparently had enough time to file a lawsuit
against Novell in the last couple weeks but couldn't deliver on a court
ordered motion!

Best regards,

Brian
