Thanks for the info, Tony. If I hadn't centered my search criteria
around USB I may have had better luck finding the TA's.
My query came after I had added the external USB hard drive, created
files systems on it, then later attached an external USB CD/DVD+RW
drive to the bus. The CD/DVD got assigned the ID the hard drive had
originally so the drive became inaccessable. I decided then to remove
the hard drive and reinstall it only to find that I didn't know how to
remove the dang thing.
It was only later that I found out I could have fixed the situation
easily via a tweak to the ID values in mscsi. Live and learn.
