You might could patch 502 up to a point where it can recognize drives
larger than 8GB, or you could try booting from a DOS floppy and run
fdisk /mbr (it sometimes works but use at your own risk), but your
best bet (as Tony implies) is to upgrade the OS to a version from this
century.
