Whoa - steady on. I'm not defending the troll. There are ways of dealing
with trolls, both in real life and on Usenet, that preserve the dignity of
the respondent (not the troll) rather more effectively. I'm heartily tired
of gratuitous flames.

And yes, I know the OpenBSD culture is famously flameworthy . But Theo and
others are mostly justified in their flames. I do worry sometimes that
flames here are considered hip. If so, that's trollish behaviour too, and
*that's* what I object to.
