Help!

I am having trouble with the new 630 system we have installed. The
disks have been set up using LVM with 3 disks mirrored and maximum
spread accross the disks.

We are running oracle 8.0.5

We are getting excessive Waiting IO figures although the disk io shows
that there is very little activity on the disks.

I was told by the IBM IT Specialist to run the command

chfs -a options=cio <mount point>

I can find no reference to this command. The system is slower since
running it. I wish to switch the option off bit cannot find out how to
do so.

Any help?
