Strange problem with libGL Hi all,
I'm using Slackware 8.1 on both my desktop and laptop. The latter is
Dell Inspiron 4150. All does work fine on my computers with exeption of
some little problem with my laptop wich I haven't probably well
configured.
One of these littrle problems is the following:
when I start using command in a shell kppp(or some other programs) all
does work but I get the message:
libGL error: failed to open DRM: Operation not permitted
libGL error: reverting to (slow) indirect rendering
well, I checked the permissions in /lib/libGL* and they seems to me to
be ok.
However if I log in at least once in graphical mode as root, then I
don't get that message anymore with normal users.
Could you guess why?
thanks and ciao
