I've just installed Slackware 7.0 on my Dell Optiplex GX110 in a dual-boot
setup with Windows 98SE on the other partition. It's been working fine, up
until the following.

I was in the process of running XF86Setup when I ran into a snag at the
mouse page; I couldn't get the mouse to respond. I tried all the mouse
protocols from the list, but nothing. I didn't go through the whole list of
Mouse Devices due to time, but I figured I'd ask this question in here: is
there anything specific off the list I should be looking to go for?

If this means anything, the mouse works fine when Win98SE is booted up.
Sorry, that's probably totally irrelevant - I'm a newb, but I'm looking to
become a Slack Monster. Hope someone in here can help!
