Default Setup Package Selection Issues

Hi!

I've been having some minor issues with package selection in the
install process of Slackware. It's now the second time I've
experienced this and an friend of mine also reported that he had it --
just a couple of days ago.

I've looked for simlar problems on the web with a quick google, but
couldn't find any, so therefore I post it.

Anyways, to the problem.
In the package series selection (using 'expert' mode -- never used
anything else, so can't tell about the others) only the 'a' package
series are available. After the first package selection and 'next' the
'a' package series are displayed once more! Again -- after pressed
'next' the 'a' series are displayed. This are repeated a couple of
times, my guess is of the number of directories in slackware/, other
words the number of package series available.
Afterwards the setup goes into the process of actuall installing the
packages. But again, only the 'a' series are installed. And it's
repeated a couple of times.
So basically I'll end up with a system with only the 'a' series
installed -- and overwritten with the same packages!

In practiaclly -- this isn't really a problem to me since a reboot of
the CD did the trick /- and I can just install the other packages
later.
But since this issue has been repeated two times for me, plus (at
least) once for my friend I figured it would be an good idea to share
it.

BTW, my friend and I did not use the same install medium (in fact the
both times I've experienced I used different CDs) and the CDs seems to
work fine.

The version we used is Slackware 9.1 -- and there is no extreme/rare
hardware involved in our computers. The problem seems to happen (more
or less) randomly and, unfortunate, I have no output, or simlar, to
share with you as 1) I made a reboot 2) I dont what output to look
for.

Cheers!
